Build custom routes seamlessly and leave notes on key points with the snap-to-trail functionality and Waypoint feature. The app also offers additional planning layers such as Slope Angle, Slope Aspect, Trail Slope, and Wildfire Layers for more detailed planning.</li>
 
 <li>Navigate Without Cell Coverage: Don't let a lack of cell service hinder your outdoor adventures. Save Offline Maps in onX Backcountry to ensure that your custom maps and adventures are accessible even when you're offline. The app allows you to navigate offline by simply following the blue dot on the map to always know how to return to your starting point. The Tracker feature also enables you to leave a breadcrumb trail and track your speed, distance, and elevation gain.</li>

Free Trial: While the onX Backcountry App and many of its features are free to use, you'll have access to a free Premium or Elite trial upon installation. This trial allows you to experience some of our best features, including 3D maps, unlimited offline downloads, trail data, and guidebook ski lines. After the first seven days, you'll still have access to topographic and satellite maps, weather information, and more.
